Envirox? DPF Assist is a range of proven Fuel Treatments for regenerating Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs). It is a fuel borne catalyst formulation that helps to burn off the trapped soot particles that build up in DPFs.

It works by:

?      Decreasing the level of soot particles produced during combustion by up to 18%.

?      Significantly lowering the temperature, the exhaust gases need to reach to burn off trapped soot particles in the DPF. This can alleviate the problems associated with soot blocking – including vehicle downtime and premature filter cleaning or replacement – whilst saving money by guarding against worsening fuel economy.

Envirox? DPF Assist is available in a range of formats and can be added directly to fuel, or used as a reservoir fluid for on board dosing systems.

Smoke Reduction

Envirox? is based on cerium oxide, a common industrial oxidation catalyst widely used in catalytic converters. It would normally be incompatible with diesel fuel but using nanotechnology it has been re-engineered into a liquid dispersion which mixes in easily.

The improved combustion and engine cleanliness achieved through use of Envirox? leads to a reduction in harmful emissions – notably particulate matter (PM), hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO).

Fleet trials carried out on public service vehicles have shown significant reductions in smoke opacity of up to 64% though use of Envirox?.

Cleaning Engines 

Envirox? facilitates the removal of soot deposits, improving engine and exhaust system cleanliness, particularly in the combustion chamber and areas downstream where conventional organic deposit control additives are largely ineffective.

When used in a combination package, with a traditional detergent additive to clean fuel injectors and nanoparticles to remove carbon deposits, Envirox? can deliver cleaning benefits throughout the engine and exhaust systems.

Fuel Economy

A cleaner engine is a more fuel efficient engine. Therefore, use of Envirox? results in improved fuel economy with the associated savings in greenhouse gas emissions (CO2).
